ABOUT ME
Hi, My name is Tricia and dancing is my passion in life!
I recently came 2nd in Latin, Champions of Tomorrow comp. Blackpool 2017.
Previously: I was 2nd in Beginners Over 45's Latin at Champions of Tomorrow, Blackpool 2015.
I also took part in a Charity 'Strictly-type' Comp. at the Tower Ballroom, Birmingham, in Nov. 2015, dancing as the 'Pro-dancer', which was great fun, especially as we won! (We did a Samba which included a Drop-Kick, a Lift & a Bum-Spin in true 'Strictly'-style!)
I haven't entered many comps, due to not having a regular dance partner, but I seem to do well in the few that I have done, and would love to compete more.
Updated: 7.10.2017: Having became somewhat disheartened at not having a comp. partner, I've started doing the ProAm Student/Teacher comps with a young Amateur Teacher/Dance Partner, because at least I get to compete then, (even if it is with my teacher!)
It's great fun, and the last comp. I did was at 'Stars of the Future', Brentwood in June, and I won the Latin and came 2nd in the Ballroom!
It's not the same as having my own dancing partner though!
Although preferring to develop in all 10 dances, I will specialize in either Ballroom or Latin for the right partner.
I believe the best dancers are those who feel the music in their soul, & express that through their dancing ... I started ballet classes at the age of 4 & have been dancing ever since!
I've been told 'I'm very light to dance with' & that 'I follow and move really well'.
I'd love to do competitions with a like-minded partner having the same passion, dedication & commitment to improve.
I'm no diva, nor do I 'do angry', so dancing with someone with a happy disposition like me would be great!
